Happened once to me...was at least a year or two ago...bought a pistol from a retailer right when they opened (so say sale finalized by 10:30am). Got a call from the store that afternoon around 16:00 saying I could pick up the gun...was stunned (as was the retailer)...Has never happened before or since...and no one believes me when I tell the story...Especially since lately, even store transfers take 5-10 days it seems.
