Any news on the transfer time with exemptions? It’s been 2 weeks, I’d really like to be able to practice with my pistol before a competition…

What is the restricted transfer time up to or down to for transfers to Ontario residents? I just purchased a pistol from a dealer up top so im curious to know how long im going to have to wait. Last restricted transfer i did was close to two months for it

Do you have a .22 exemption letter? How people still buying pistol these days

As it turns out the pistol transfer times have gotten a lot worse since 2011.

Turns out I’m supposed to call the RCMP LOL now still waiting on ON CFO, it’s been about a week.

Ok, so my transfer is done. I called RCMP for completing the restricted transfer on 21 Nov, and sent an email to ON CFO with my exemption letter same day (I was on hold for 2 hours and then they hung up on me). Sent a follow up on 29 Nov, and they sent me back the TN on 1 Dec.
