Ontario restricted transfer times?

What is the restricted transfer time up to or down to for transfers to Ontario residents? I just purchased a pistol from a dealer up top so im curious to know how long im going to have to wait. Last restricted transfer i did was close to two months for it.

If it's from a dealer it could be acouple of days. I had one in my hands in less than a week.

4 days for me last November, from a dealer in Medicine Jaw, Saskaberta.

That said, my friend has been waiting 6 weeks for an ATT after he renewed his PAL a day late, so who knows what the current wait is.

Took me 8 business days, the first week of January. I'm sure that it took so long was because of the holliday rush though, so right now I bet its less than a week.

It has been 3 weeks since I started my first (to me) transfer. I am still waiting for something in the mail. Seems like it's up to them how long they drag their feet.

I bought a handgun from Target Sports just a few days before Christmas. I drove home thinking that I won't hear from them before mid January.
Then I got "the call" two hours after getting home. Unbelievable!!! Even the store employees were amazed.
I went right back and brought the gun home within 6 hours after buying it.
I know... It was VERY unusual.
Normally, it takes approx. 7-10 business days.

Bought mine on a Friday, and the paperwork was in on the Monday.

Club level ATT took a few weeks though....

Ontario transfer I started 2 weeks ago ? I know it will get here soon as the Gun cop wants the firearm out of the sellers possesion asap! other than that, this summer 3.5 weeks took from a local dealer! Realy hate haven Toronto/Ottawa in the same province as I am!! Dale Z

I recently purchased a pistol off the EE from a guy living in Ontario.. It took a month for the CFO to even look at the transaction... I called exactly 1 month later to the day and asked if the transfer had been approved and the person on the phone said no but it looked at in a few days.. ????????? A week later my gun transfer was approved.. Sounds like they were all at a month long Holiday party during December 2010... To top it all off .. they sent my ATT (long term) to the seller????? which he then sent to me that week...

My transfer took 2 business days from a dealer in Ontario.

Restricted from (sponsoring ) dealer in Alberta to me in Ontario.
Transfer requested Thursday evening. I called in this Monday morning.
Transfer approved and they gave me the number over the phone.
Now, it's the Canada Post tracking and waiting game.

Bought a Colt Combat Elite from Arms East and it took about 2 weeks before trasfer was complete.

19 days and a lot of #####ing to the CFC for my most recent restricted transfer from Alberta to Ontario. Just waiting for the package now. My paperwork went from the CFC to the Ontario CFO office for review. It then went back to the registry for additional review. I have been told not all transfers do this. I guess my constant phone calls pissed off someone.

It's really on and off, I've had dealer transfers done and in my hands within a couple of days, and then some transfers which had me waiting about 2 weeks.
