Ontario Safety Course Report

Dave, do yourself a favor and go read the shorten PAL application sticky on the frontpage of this board. Basically what you are going to want to do is send in your application without checking off the box which asks if your test results are attached. Mail in the application so that the 28 day waiting period starts, and then fax or mail the results in when they finally arrive.

Thats what Im going to do thanks, What happens If my marks dont arrive within the 7 weeks they give you to supply course marks?

Dave

I spoke to FSESO today and between their moving offices and Christmas they're still catching up. They're now working on course reports received in the second week of December.

Just curious, why dont Ont. people get there results the same day they write/ preform there tests?

I challenged my restricted, got my marks right there on the spot. Signed by instructor, all good.

Seems like tax payer money hard at work in Ont, yet again.....

IMO.

I think it has to do with people "teaching" the course who were not approved by the CFO to do so.

So, now test results get sent to the CFO first to ensure they were conducted by approved instructors.

A decertified instructor used up his remaining stock of tests and forms about 3.5 years ago. The CFO found out about it when course reports that were given directly to the students showed up at the CFC attached to licence applications. The "solution" was to assume that all Ontario instructors may be crooks and review course reports before their being mailed to the students.
