ontario transfer time

I have a transfer pending approval in Ontario. Purchased last Tuesday from Wolverine.

I'm hoping it gets completed today or tomorrow.

Both of mine were private, both prohib's, and both took 3 days, and both got sent for review or it would have been 2 days.

Used CZ bought over the long weekend, transfer started last Tuesday, approved this morning. Four business days. Private sale, out of province.
Wasn’t expecting that in ON...

Bought or sold? When you sell from ON to let say BC, it is BC CFO approves the transfer. ON CFO is involved when buyer is in ON.

In Qc province here. It has always been 10-15 days, before.
But I did a transfer Aug 10th and still nothing. Tried to call them last week but couldn't talk to anyone. Grrrr

They have never been in much of a hurry

I can answer my own question with joy.
It’s 2 business days for me. Called last thursday first thing in the morning, got the transfer paper in my email @ before 2pm. So happy.

I always call. They won't email you unless you specifically ask them to, and the paperwork can be a couple of weeks via snail mail.

Mine was just completed in 5 days. Purchased online in Manitoba from Ontario.

I purchased 2 handguns back in July, both transfers were done in 24h.

Let's hope the registration certificate arrives in no more than 2 weeks.

Purchased on Sept 4th from dealer but they didn't summit the transfer until the 6th and I received it in the mail yesterday the 11th.

Two weeks now waiting for approval on my latest purchase. Typically in Alberta it has been 24 to 48 hours for me, so this is unusual.

QC time update : transfer from business to QC new owner took 4 weeks.

Ontario to Ontario transfer.
Transfer requested on Thursday and approved on Monday. However they didn't tell me it was approved until I called a couple days later.
