Ontario transfer times

I hate starting one of these threads, but how long is everyone waiting on private transfers in Ontario right now. I've had one pending approval since Oct 31st.

Anybody else waiting an unusually long time?

Ask for it to be emailed and it should take a day. Then call for the ATT and have it emailed as well and that should be done in five minutes and your good to go. My last private transfer was called in on Monday and the buyer had his new to him pistol in his hands on Friday, not bad from Ontario to Alberta.

My 2 recent Ontario private transfers took 7 & 8 days respectively.
I requested that the approved Transfer Notification and the TATT be emailed to me (I was the Seller). This saved me a lot of phone time trying to get a status and a TATT.

I got approval in one day, and my registration slip arrived on the same day as the gun (4 days later). That was 2 weeks ago

Sold a 4" Python to a chap in Ontario on October 29th. I'm still waiting for approval.

I've been waiting for two to get approved since October 21st?! They're usually a lot quicker than that?

In the summer I was getting transfers approved in Ontario in 24hrs.

bought from a store on Oct. 25, called in yesterday to see what the hold up was

when i got home the registration cert. was in my mailbox, but still no ATT emailed to me or issued??

gonna call them today or tomorrow

We all know guns store transfers are usually a day or 2

Oct 20 approval in 2 days.
Oct 26 started, still waiting

I started two on the same phone call on Monday 27 Oct 14. The one going to Alberta I got approval for the next day, and the one going 50km away from me took two weeks.

Waiting for one since Oct 30th. Really getting tired of waiting while other provinces CFOs approve theirs within like few days to a week.

Same here,
I called CFO today in regards a pending transfer started Oct 30th and I was told 'it is still within the 10 day period' like if it was something normal, but I know it is not because all my other transfers I started along 2014 went through in about 24 hrs.

Sold my gun and initiated the transfer on the morning of Nov.03 . Still waiting for approval. Never tried to ask to email it , thought.

Same topic going on over in the general forum. I initiated a transfer a week and a half ago, asked them to email when it was complete, transfer certificate was in my inbox mid way through the next morning, less than 24 hours.

I have yet to wait more than two weeks. Private sales too, in Ontario going to buyers in Quebec.

I will call tomorrow and see what they tell me. It has been 2 weeks now.

Called them today and still nothing. Over 2 weeks and some. Maybe I can get it before X-mas hopefully
