Ontario Transfer Wait Times?

I waited about a month for mine

I purchased from a vendor in SK, the transfer was initiated April 2nd. Still waiting...... I called on Thursday and was told they have it and things usually take five to ten days. Here's to hoping. My last restricted transfer about a year ago took fourty-eight hours.

Latest transfer initiated Mar 23. Completed April 12. Holiday in between. How many days? You do the math.

Oh you are excited about them shutting down services like license processing and att issuance so they can do transfers?

How about hiring adequate staff so they can do their whole job and meet demand.
Or better still, repeal the handgun registry for the same reason they repealed the long gun registry. Its stupid. Its expensive. It doesnt work.

I was told by CFO they are taking between 3-4 weeks currently but are trying to get that improved... I can remember when I thought 2 weeks was ridiculous now wishing it was only 2 weeks!

Still waiting. I'm guessing this must be extremely discouraging for vendors in provinces outside of Onterrible. Geez, they sell you a restricted and now they have to worry about it rusting into a heap of red dust o their shelves.....

I am excited that they will finally eliminate the backlog. You implying that I am excited for the 1 day per week services shutdown is ridiculous. Did you read what you wrote?

15 Business Days, including the day of the transfer which was initiated at 0900 for a private sale and current owner of restricted firearms with no club on file.

Ok, must have slipped through the cracks somehow. Bought XD 45 from a guy in Alberta May 8th, started transfer at noon, got the email today at noon that it was done.

Holy ?@&$, 48 hrs for a Ontario transfer!
