Ontario Transfer Wait Times?

My Sig P320 from Bullseye shipped today which means the transfer took 17 business days.

Kind of odd, I bought my sig from bullseye on the 20th of Sept, still no transfer. They sent me a message yesterday saying "oh transfers from right around when you bought are finally coming in". The didn't know that two weeks before I had been in there, and they were showing me transfer approvals from 2 days after I did my deal... So I'm at 27 business days, nothing yet. I don't even want the 320 at this point

I asked about cancelling, and they told me it's a $50 return fee, I said "return of what, I never got it??". I know it's not their fault, and I know the libbys and antis get all wet when they read that we're getting frustrated, however they should not try to placate with lies, it just makes it worse.

I bought a brad new Dominion HI power on October 3rd and my transfer was approved on October 26 and shipped on October 27th.

Bullseye told me it's about a month for a transfer right now in Ontario. I bought the gun on Sat, Oct 29 so I'll let you guys know. YMMV.

I ordered my P320 from Bullseye on Sept 30th, the transfer was initiated on Oct 2nd and approved Oct 23rd.

Just got a transfer completed in Ontario in 2 days. Hard to believe but a pleasant surprise.

If I got a ref # is it possible to call CFC to check status approved or not? I haven't bought any restricted for almost a year and I had a few bought from ON store to BC before and done pretty quickly. Not sure how long this AR lower is gonna get shipped.

How is it possible that it takes longer now, than it did back when EVERY gun needed to be transferred?

Placed order for CZ 75 from Reliable in Vancouver on September 29th.
Canada Post expected delivery date November 7th.

6 weeks, 1 day for pistol transfer, 2.5 weeks for an AR transfer. Buddy got a pistol xfer done from the store in 1 day less of two weeks. Person to person I did in 2 days. Totally random.

Got one restricted coming from Calgary and one from London. Been two weeks so far. We'll see which one arrives first. Both are dealer transfers.

Doesn't make much sense... however they seem to be happening faster now than they did in the summer, seems like its down from 5 weeks to 2.5 weeks average.

Latest transaction was an online order from a site sponsor on Oct 16, transfer approved Nov 3. Now phase two of the wait - reg certificate.

Bought a restricted handgun from Cabella's got the transfer paperwork within 2 days bought one through my range one week later took 3 weeks.
Something is definitely not right with the Ontario CFO office

I did a restricted transfer from Ontario to Alberta. Took 1 day!! I've done a couple Ontario to Ontario and it took 3 weeks.

A cfo woman said something similar to me, said it was likely due to the government and their threat of messing with law abiding gun owners in December (paraphrasing but that was her thoughts on it).

I bought my first restricted handgun from a site sponsor back in August and it took exactly 14 days from purchase to transfer. It was quicker than I had expected.
My second purchase through another site sponsor and it is exactly 3 weeks from the day of purchase as of today and still counting.......still waiting....and waiting....
