Ontario Turkey Season 5 days away who's going?

No luck for me today but heard A LOT of gobbling and about 8-10 shotguns in the distance so it's on!
Haven't even been out of the field for an hour and I'm counting the hours until I go back :D
Hope some of you had a successful opening day. Can't wait to see the pics.

You're still lucky you got out today, There is no way I could get today off... so here I sit, pretending to work and browsing CGN to see if anyone bagged the big tom yet.

Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

...and I saw a huge flock I my way home last night, in a field that is usually a corn maze every year. I don't know if they are OK with hunters, but if my spot doesn't pan out in the next couple days, I'll be talking with the land owners on Monday.

Woke up at 4:30am this morning... Gobble Gobble Gobble at 5:45am... Bagged this one at 6:00am on the dot... no pun intended. One down... one more tag to go.

We just received some devastating news. The land owners, through no fault of our own, got skittish and now prefer that we stop hunting their land. This was a co-worker of ours and I think her husband was never too keen on the idea to begin with. So this season consisted of two days where we heard nothing and saw nothing. How do you guys find hunting opportunities? Cold knocking?

Can someone please explain where I can get my turkey license from? I checked http://www.ofah-cps.com/turkey/DVD.cfm but they say there are no more courses offered?

And does anyone know if I need to buy 2 DVDs if my dad and I are watching them together and doing the test at the same time?

TYou each need to purchase the dvd... each dvd has a number and you will each have to show a receipt of purchase in your name to take the test...

Did not hear a gobble and did not call until 7:00 am. At 7:05 heard a very distant gobble so I made my first call on the slate, this fella came in 10 minutes later on a string, strutting but silent. Spent my time patterning the new Winchester Longbeard XR but the shot was only at 25 yards, weighed in at 20lbs 4oz using my $3 eBay electronic scale...
