Ontario withdraws proposals to ease wolf, coyote hunting regulations

a local hunter gang was out just last week trying to eliminate some coyotes that were bold enough to come into a farmers barn and take lambs out of the pen. this is in southern ont. were coyotes are open season. it did not go well as they denned up after the dogs were put on them.as for the farmers in the north it puts them in the position of hunting illegally or suffering the losses that will surely come as a result of a hunting ban.

They took a lot of flack for re-instating the Spring Bear Hunt (ok, technically a 5 year "pilot project") - maybe figured if they caved on the Wolves, the tree huggers would forget about the "Yogi blasting" that would be taking place :)
The issue is the tree hungers live south of the tree line, hwy 7. They have no clue.

First off, don't paint us all with the same brush..... I am in favour of the tagless system in your area...... I actually frequent it regularly for wolf hunts.....

Drawing a line will help nobody.......

I support you, and fail to see why the most densely populated area has tag requirements and mine has none.... But alienating a whole section of hunters will not help your cause....
