Yesterday I was reassembling my Pattern 14 and when I was reinstalling the magazine floorplate the spring snapped.
I tried to epoxy the thing back together but as soon as I tried to load the first snap cap the epoxy let go.
So I guess I`m wondering where I can get a replacement, I`m also not above jimmying something else into working.
I did find a replacement at Numrich but with $35 shipping on a $10 part I`d rather leave that as a last option. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Ask a friend if they want anything from Numrich. That is what I usually do. ;) If I am not mistaken, the spring from a mauser might work. I'd wait to here back from a mauser guru though. If they will work, tradex has them form $4.

Trade-Ex has some P.-'14 parts, as has Epps. Both are already here in Canada, so no Border shamozzle to go through. Both have ads with links at the top of this page. Give them a try.

I would be surprised if a Mauser spring could not be adapted. These rifles were about 99% Mauser, anyway.
