Just watched tonyben's "Tilt Test" video. With the barreled action out of the stock, op rod spring, spring guide and bolt removed he has the op rod sliding all the way forward and back under it's own weight.
The op rod on my 2007 Norc will slide back until it contacts -rubs on- the underside of the barrel at the chamber bulge.
I have about 800 rounds through this rifle with zero FTF/FTE issues but am wondering if this might be detrimental to accuracy. Any insight ?

Nah, just grease the contact points. Had this happen to me in one of my M1A's with a Douglas Hvy NM barrel I just re-barreled years ago. No worries, well none that I know of...

Cheers,
Barney
