Op rod m305

Sorry for all the questions but is it critical to have the op rod line up with the piston, mine is not lining up but I don't know if this is necessary, any info would be great, thanks.
 
There are certain degrees of not lining up.

Please post picture. In general a small misalignment will not be an issue to the operation of the firearm. At best it will result parts wearing out a little earlier then expected.
