had my m-14 out and after 13 rds my op-rod stick open? this had happened two times. my m-14 is a A.R. Sales receiver with all GI parts with a very low round count. even the mags are GI. this has never happed before. the rifle is very clean and well greased. with a good hit she will keep running. any help
p.s. it's not the bolt, it's the op-rod

"...after 13 rds..." That'd be evil in one mag.
Is the rod jumping out of its rails? If not, look for burrs on the rails and the rod. A gravity test might help. Springs out and see if the rod will open and close the action under its own weight.

what grain of ammo you using i know when i used 180 grain the whole rifle would go haywire, knocking the guide rod off its rails and seizing open (i learn everything the hard way)

the ammo is 7.62 ball. i think 147grain. and yes, GI stock "big red" with the cut out. yes 13 rds out of the 3rd mag. ate the frist two fine. i did add a nos trigger group to it GI H&R and she is tight. this and the stock are the only things i've changed to the rifle. it is nomally in a m-14 E2 stock.
