Open Bolt .22lr

Every gun nut needs at least one open bolt firearm, whether they know it or not, as well as a copy of Charles Cutshaw's book Tactical Small Arms Of The 21st Century: A Complete Guide To Small Arms From Around The World, to help them (and others) to better understand firearms.

The Gevarms that I've shot were plenty accurate. With with the current regulations (i.e.: safe storage, safe transport), an open bolt firearm fed by a detachable magazine are safer for the average (untrained or undertrained) person to handle, much easier and quicker for the user to load and unload, much more convenient to move between places where the firearm can be loaded and where it cannot, and makes more sense for hunting that it ever did back when a firearm could be kept loaded all of the time.

Try one and see for yourself.

I would agree with Wendell! I have a Gevarm with a scope mounted to it, and it is very capable of good accuracy! Especially with quality ammunition.
The other neat factor that they have is that you can change the configuration of spring guide to lighten the tension in order to shoot 22 long ammunition or subsonic loadsIMG_4335.jpeg
