Open Gun on the cheap

Looking at putting together an Open Pistol on the cheap. I know the two don't usually go together, but just wanted to get some thoughts. Want to stick with 9Major as I am already tooled up for it after parting ways with an Open pistol a while back.

What do you consider cheap? There are some Open guns used with like 10-12 mags on EE right now for $3700-4000. I'd considering that sort of cheap. New they are $4400 plus tax, scope and scope mount etc.

You can build a glock open pistol for a decent price. I know a guy with one if you want to try it.
