opening chokes on chromed barrels?

I understand chrome lined barrels are more difficult to ream in the process of opening up chokes to shoot steel.

Any suggestions on who might do this work? I am looking at a 70's SxS with F & M / needs to go to IC for steel shot.

My local guy says no!

Any gun smith with a carbon bit reamer can do the job no problem.
