Beautiful opening day! Overcast, cool, just a hint of rain in the air. The colours this year in NB (up in Edmundston anyway) are stunning. Best fall colours that I can remember.

As usual though, I didn't come home with my limit. I got exactly... nada. :redface:

I did scare one up though about 5 minutes into my walk. I figured there were probably more in the area so I snuck around real quiet like to see if I could spot any more. No dice. Oh well, there's always next time. :rolleyes:

Yeah, you're right about there being too many leaves. But whatever... it was a great walk! :)

Good luck with your hunt Bruteman! I hope you do better than I did! :D

Aaaaah, October 1st. I used to wait all year for that magical day when I was a kid living in New Brunswick.:)
 
Vivid pictures mmatt - She ain't called the Picture Province for nuttin'! I did a 30km hike/hunt yesterday in WMZ-22, a little on the warm & windy side for my liking and I've had to soak my feet for the better part today ...... but put up 8 birds and brought down 2. Following a seasonal photo of the covered bridge at Bloomfield.
