Opening up a bolt face? Bottom metal feeding?

Can a Remington 700 ADL short action with a standard bolt face be opened up to accommodate the SAUM cartridges? Is this safe to do? Am I better off to just get a different donor action that is already set up for SAUM?

I plan to use v-bull bottom metal magazine kit will the SAUM feed reliable with that set up if installed properly?

you would have to open up the feed rails unless the V-Bull setup is a centerfeed design...get another rifle in a SAUM..
