I have a non restricted CX4 Storm in 9mm that I like except for one thing. The rear right sight aperture (hole) is ridiculously small. There are actually two of them and they are both extremely small, especially for a pistol caliber firearm. The "close range" sight on the No.4 Lee Enfield was way bigger and more useful.
I am thinking of drilling it out to a larger size. Has anyone else done this or something similar? Anything I should keep in mind like bevelling the hole or something? I know I could put a red dot sight on it but I would like to make the sights it has usable. If I like it I may even do the same to my Colt SP1.
If it were useful the girlfriend could even use it for keeping coyotes out of the yard as it has very little recoil but as is it is you really can't even do that.
Thanks in advance.
