Our group really had a blast this opening week-end.
Took this one while doing a drive. First buck for the shooter too. Too bad he destroyed the heart with 12ga slug...
This one is not the first buck for this guy... also on the drive. .308 Bang-flop.
He looks like a caribou though...
And this one is mine. Caught him licking some salt at my stand without paying his dues... penalty is winter in the freezer. I honestly couldn't even see his antlers but after watching him for over a minute, I decided to crank the scope up to 10x and his antlers appeared. He fell like a sack of potatoes. 80 yards using a .308 M700 with 180gr SST's.
It's too bad the picture turned out almost black because of the flash... daylight wast just just starting to fade... I should have removed the automatic flash.
