Again the old saying, "my enemy's enemy is my friend".
It seems that "our" rehabilitated nazis were a bit smarter (and luckier) than "their" rehabilitated nazis. Too bad their intelligence and creativity were'nt applied to doing more constructive things in the first place.

A vast vast majority were not Nazi's at all; they were compelled to take memberships for a variety of reasons. Heck even Albert Speer only grudgingly took a membership for sundry reasons - and then worked against the party for his entire tenure.
