Opinion .655 Mad Max choke

I bought a ported choke for my 870 26" barrel. It's .655 Mad Max. I have heard that the Mad Max chokes are made by Indian Creek and are well made. I also heard that I may regret the constriction of this choke. Going to pattern it this weekend.

Anybody use something similar? Results?

Try lead 6's they seem to respond better to tight chokes.

Thanks. Going to buy some turkey loads today. Good thing I have that Remington R3 recoil pad on my 870.

I have a ported .650 custom choke. I was told by the maker its the tightest choke to pattern #4 shot in a 2oz load. He says any tighter and the results are diminishing at 30 yards I get all 2oz of #6 in about a 8" circle so I think you will do ok with a .655
