Opinion: H335 vs CFE223

I currently use H335 for my bulk .223 loading, mostly because it's very easy metering in my Dillon.

Lately I've found myself wondering if switching to CFE is worth it for the apparent cleaner rifle??

Any good opinions, experiences and/or comparisons one might have to share? Any other good choices for bulk reloading in .223 with a standard Hornady 55 grn or Campro 55??

First question what is your barrel length? CFE is quite a bit slower than 335 so probably not as good for short barrel ie 14.5" barrels. If it was a long barrel I would go with the CFE a short barrel the faster burn 335. BL-C(2) is also a slower burn option for long barrels. Of course every gun is different so all you can do is try it and see how it works.

Barrel is a standard 16 inch Colt M4/6920. But I just ordered a new 10 inch barrel for a new upper build.

I also have a 2nd upper I plan on a 20 inch Rainier MEDCON barrel on. Or similar long barrel. I'd like to use the same load for all 3 so I'm not fussing around. Though I also have 8lbs of Varget for a dedicated "DMR" load for the 20 inch barrel.
