Opinion: JAE 100 Stock in Canada

That banned member has the best deals going around, not to mention his workmanship... Which second to none in my books.

That guy is a crook!! don't know how he does it, but he's a crook. I've seen his low prices and quality builds and it doesnt matter what kinda deals he has I always have the tendancy to spend more than I was going to, I come out with alot more stuff:dancingbanana: , but I still spend twice as much........Some day I will figure it out, but until then.....He's a crook:p ;) :)

A crook you say???? More like a highway man.
Holds a gun to your head and makes you buy great things to try and get past the wife.
I overheard some of LRCs :dancingbanana: begging at the Ft Mac show, thought he was pleading for his life, but it was actually pleading "with" his wife :p

You have been either Talking to Ben, (BUM) or my buddy down south. That is not pleading, that is called creative negotiation which payed off I now have the .50 and the wife thinks it was a good idea. In the military I believe it would be psycological warfare, winning hearts and minds.Pleading is done on the knee's and I can assure you no pleading was done, in public anyway;) :) :dancingbanana:

It sure is a sweet stock! I just don't know if I can justify buying a stock that cost three times what the gun did! can it improve your groupings THAT much??? I'd feel like I was putting a V8 in a firefly or somthing! maby if the price came down off the $1000 doller mark.... it's still a really nice stock*drool

The next guy/girl that says this......I'm going to slap.

You guys don't get it........these things sell for $800 US.... USED........for good reason.

Basically we are the only country buying what's left of them.....China is dumping them on us so to speak.

After all the builds I've done I'd be happy to pay $500 just for the receiver.....so if you want to take this M14s (M305) to it's potential.....spend the $..Because you just saved over $1000 on a decent rifle (compared to SA)....or just shoot what you have and be happy that it was $400.

How about this......if you spent $2000 on a base M1A (Sproingfield) and dropped it in the $$$$ stocks.....would you feel better?

I won't shoot and SA unless it was the REAL thing.....I won't touch them.

I've had more problems working on SA INC than I have had with any Poly or Norc.

Well written GGFB.

The fact is the Norinco M-14 is hands down the best firearms advantage us Canadians have over the U.S. We can strip down a Norinco, re build it and have a rifle that will outshoot any Springfield made for under $1500. Is the stock worth it? Absolutely:D in my opinion.

That stock is sick. I see why Hungry says to get more than one rifle...so you can buy cool whiz-bang stuff like the JAE stock.

Coincidentally, our friend from North Calgary tried to sell me one the other day. How he gets me from a trigger job on a Ruger RSM to damn near handing over moolah for a JAE stock or a membership in the Half-Inch Gun Club, I am at a loss to explain!

Don't fight it Ben, just do it.:dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

Has anyone gotten there JAE stock yet? I was wondering who you talk to and how you go about getting one. Where do I contact this Rick person if he is the only distributor,or is there other ways.

HWSNBN Is the only distributor in Canada. The 1st order is scheduled to be produced in the next few weeks. I called JAE spoke a really nice lady (Lisa) to confirm this before ordering a stock from HWSNBN.
I think the coin is reasonable given that the stock and handgard sell for $650.00 US, add freight and exchange and he is likely making about 15% margin, which any accountant will tell you is far short of what most stuff in other industries is marked up. I know from experience what clothing is marked up.
It still boils down to whether you want a great stock for the rifle or are happy with what you have. Mine will be wearing a tan and grey JAE

Kyrol PM me for contact info if you want it

There are guys in the States who put $3,000 scopes and $1000 barrels on these receivers, as GG&FB says, the Chinese are basically clearing these things out to us, because we're the only market that is allowed to buy them. Clear the thought of what you didn't pay out of your head - these receivers are at least as good as an LRB, which will probably cost you 2 Norcs to land here - IF - you're allowed to have one. The God's are smiling on us in this one little area, think of it as a make up for all the cool things we're not allowed.

I've agreed to take one off of him, can't wait. I've wanted one of these for a while now, had contemplated less legal methods of getting one up here but now that they are up here legit... sold!

jae100

Got to finally see one at the thorncliff gun show in Calagry at Rick's table!!
WOW!!!!! What a stock! He only had the one left in a light brown color looked awesome! Just wasn't packing thousand buck's around with me! I think a definte must have for the M1A , M305 owner!
Said that it was his last one ,but had another 40 on the way!!!

Mine came in last week. Took longer to read the instructions than it did to put it all together. Makes for a very substantial and comfortable platform. Just need a bibod and range time now!
