Hard to find a pre 64 Model 94 on E.E. for less than $500.

I was never big into Winchesters, old Marlins back in the day, But I have sold a few like this.
I think most of you are a bit light, IF the bore is very good, that is a good hunting gun, not a collector as has been said as it look to have been polished up.

that sight is worth a good amount , That should sell for 500.oo more if the original wood is not to bad.
Out in this country beaters, parts guns go for 2-400.oo, just price out a few parts , and wood.

Yeah, maybe. But not in the real world though, especially in that condition.

I don't have a current blue book handy, anyone know what it says for an early '94 NRA Fair?

blue book is a bit off for Canada, mine is out in shop, but that is a bit better than fair.. in my humble option, but real hard to appraise guns form a picture
Do you have a picture of the original wood handy?

I agree about the values being imprecise, they always are, but it's a good reference for a general idea.

It's DEFINITELY NRA fair at present though. No question about it. Don't even need the pictures, the description alone is enough.

FAIR: Some major parts replaced; minor replacement parts may be required; metal rusted, may be lightly pitted all over, vigorously cleaned or re-blued; rounded edges of metal and wood; principal lettering, numerals and design on metal partly obliterated; wood scratched, bruised, cracked or repaired where broken; in fair working order or can be easily repaired and placed in working order.

To be NRA Good it needs the original stock to be functional.

GOOD: Some minor replacement parts; metal smoothly rusted or lightly pitted in places, cleaned or re-blued; principal letters, numerals and design on metal legible; wood refinished, scratched bruised or minor cracks repaired; in good working order.
