I do not think guntech is far off. I am old guy - those scope bases hanging over the magazine area are "wrong", in my opinion - so a $750 used rifle that used to have a decent enough stock, then deduct at least $100 for those bases that would be no good to me, and would need to be replaced, probably by the original Ruger rings that would have came from the factory with that rifle - then add a bit for the after market stock - but the original Ruger rifle did come with a stock!!! So, like many add-ons that people do, I would not be paying a lot for them - would not do that to my own rifles - so will not pay too much for them. My brother has a brake on his 300 Win Mag; I do not on my 300 Weatherby Mag, 338 Win Mag, 9.3x62 or my 458 Win Mag - so that brake is not of value to me. Not playing "make-believe" - have probably bought more than 10 rifles in 2020 - have one in the mail to me tonight - I think I know what I want and will spend money on, and a stock set up for prone shooting is not it. But, I am me, with my own likes and dislikes, and there are a lot more potential buyers out there...
