Opinion on Battery Assist Levers

BADs induced failed bolt hold back on empty mags in two ARs that I tried them in (and yes, I have tried MANY different good quality mags with the same results). I got rid of the BADs lickety-split.
I run the charging handle to reload, anyway. I also don't want to pick up another AR and start feeling for a BA lever that isn't there.

Have one on my PWS Mk110. Never had a single issue whatsoever. As for manual of arms, I shoot Tavors, PS90s, ARs, etc. Unlike an some of our primate cousins, I have the ability to shoot different platforms without becoming easily confused.

I love mine.

I have read some discussions before about BAD levers and how some folks have had failures with them. It seems in some cases it is the "rock" of the hookup of the lever to the release. I seen only recently this you tube video of Phase 5s' design, where it does not paddle or bolt to the release button, rather replaces it as one solid working piece. For those who have had some bad luck with the BAD Magpul releases, perhaps these would work better?? To me it looks to be a great solid alternative being one piece, and yeah,,it has the whole "tacticool" thing going on to. :)
