I drive a Jeep... does that make me a second class citizen? lol...
Yes, but only because it's essentially a dodge...

I am convinced I want a noveske ar15. I am fairly new to the black rifle scene so I was hoping sone of you more experienced guys can give me some pointers. I was told mid length gas assemblies are "smoother" than the carbine length. This is something I definitely desire. There's a guy at my range who shoots with a sr15 and swears by the longer gas assembly. Is this just a dominant feature knights armament rifles have or will I experience something similar with a noveske with mid length assembly. On that note, where can I find a noveske afghan rifle? I know quester normally carries them but I believe they are out of stock at the moment.
Let me be the first to actually answer your question. Noveske do not make carbine lenth gas system anymore. It's either mid size or rifle lenth. Questar is the only dealer that will import Noveske product so if you can't find what you are looking for in the EE, give Questar a call. If you want to make your AR15 even smoother, you might consider a muzzle break. What's what a got on my 14.5 Afghan rifle and it's a pleasure to shoot.

To be more specific, the shortest barrel that Noveske uses a mid-length gas system is the 13.7" Infidel. Their guns with 12.5" and shorter barrels use carbine length or pistol length gas systems.
Questar is the only dealer that I have seen complete guns at in recent memory, but others such as Armtac have brought in Noveske lowers, so I would not be surprised to see them bringing in complete Noveske guns in the future.
I'm curious as to how Noveske managed to fit a ~9" midlength gas system on a 7.5" Diplomat barrel.
Enlighten me, please.

It's possible with pigtails, but Noveske doesn't ship their guns with these gas tubes. I personally don;t run them as they can flex when overly hot and potentially not line up well with the gas key. YMMV.
