opinion on the baby eagle in a 9mm?

"Homesick Alien" has one on the boards here, i shot his once. Very nice guns, heavy, steel frame, fairly slim grip even though it's a double stack, good ergonomics. I see no reason NOT to recommend one to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

I had one in 9mm. It was very well put together and looked really bad-ass 8) . While it felt pretty heavy, it pointed perfectly and perceived recoil was negligable. Its best feature however was its accuracy. Mine was the most accurate autoloader I have ever owned or fired, in any caliber.

At around $750 new, these guns are one of the better values out there right now.

I have fired a couple and will certainly get one some day. Nice heavy pistol, ###y looking, based on CZ action, sweet trigger, reasonable cost...whats not to like!!!

The Baby Eagle in 9mm is a great pistol...built like a tank without being oversized and very, very accurate. A P226 feels like I'm gripping the wrong end of a baseball bat compared to the BE. Sweet trigger for a TDA pistol, too. I got the stainless model. Very pimpy.
BladeTech makes a DOH holster for the Baby Eagle:-

i own a 9mm stainless baby desert eagle and its a dream. its a little heavy but fun to shoot, its got a smooth trigger. i would recommend it. very nice gun

I don't think there are negative comments about the gun itself, but you might want to check into the support structure for it. If you needed parts, more mags, repair, etc, would that be available in Canada? Personally, I don't know one way or the other, but you should definitely ask about that before getting it ;-)

I have not shot one myself but when I was inquireing about them at a dealer he said to stay away from them  I asked why and he said they were not well made and were not accurate  So when a actual dealer tells me stay away from them then I wont buy one.

I'm a little surprised by this. I was shopping for a CZ and the store I went to suggested the BE instead of the CZ. I wound up buying it instead of the CZ 75. It is well made and accurate. Its trigger for 'out of the box' is one of the sweetest triggers I have felt. I would even go as far as saying that its trigger is as good as, if not better than the 'out of the box' triggers on my Sig's. I have no complaints and am happy with it.

looking to pick up a 9mm version, just looking for some feedback -
Dangaa, I've got one for sale. It's blue in 9mm. I have only fired around 300 rounds and it comes with 4 mags and a Fobus Tactical holster. The price is $799 plus shipping if you're interested.

I have been shooting with a board member who has had nothing but trouble with his, mainly feeding issues I believe. I was interested in one until I saw his constantly malfunction. I think it is in for repairs now, maybe he will chime in with more details.
