Opinion on trigger stops

I'm trying to do what I can to make my 625 more consistant ( so then I'll know what is my fault) to that end I was thinking about putting in a trigger stop screw to get faster rebound for the next shot .

What is everyones opinion of this mod , pro or con.

I'm really interested in getting all the info on this before i start drilling on my gun

The easiest way to try a trigger stop, is to glue an eraser to the rear of the trigger at the mid point of the radius and trim to the correct lenth (trial and error). This cheap and not permanent method will give you feedback as to whether you like a stop or not.

Siliocone could be used too.

In general I love trigger stops. Not for the faster rebound but to prevent the finger movement after the striker/hammer is released.
All my guns have a trigger stop of some description, either internal or on the trigger/trigger guard.
