opinion please

I have a possibility for a trade to have a Harrington & Richardson sporter in 17hmr. it already have a good scope. I already know what a 17hmr can do, what I want to know is if it's a good rifle. general comment on google are good but comments from here are welcome.

I was told they were being discontinued so parts and repairs may become an issue. That was from a sales person at LeBaron's. It would have to be a great deal for me to buy it.

i had one for a while. It was quite accurate. It didn't fire everytime I pulled the trigger so I lost faith in it. Something to do with the transfer bar safety I guess. I would try another one.
