So, I am looking for a .22lr semi-auto with an adjustable trigger pull and above average accuracy.
checked different guns... SW 41, Beretta 87 (overtravel only), etc. and apparently the only one I found with adjustable pull is the High Standard.

I know from the Hammerli x-esse sport website it also has an adjustable trigger (min 2.2lbs) but never shot it. I m sure it is another respectable gun.

My question... Does anyone has experience with this gun? likes/dislikes?
how far can you go with the trigger pull? who sells them?

Thanks,
Mo

A very light trigger on a .22 target pistol isn't necessary. 2.2 pounds, for example, is too light for most target shooting. Shot a Smith 41 for eons myself. Marstar is listing a Trophy and a Citation HS pistols. Used but in good condition. Either one would do nicely.
Don't know who is carrying the new HS line. It's owned by different people since 1993. Give 'em a call and ask who their Canadian distributor is, if they have one. 1-800-272-7816 info@highstandard.com

You won't go wrong with any of the High Standard target pistols. I am of course refering to the "original" manufacturer.

The new (Texas) High Standards do not have a great reputation for quality & have experienced feeding issues. I had a bad experience with a Citation they manufactured. Luckily I was able to sell this gun & I now have a genuine Hamden Citation.

As sunray mentioned a S&W model 41 is another good choice.

Have fun choosing that new pistol.:D
