opinions on “cleanest” burning factory 9 ammo

hi all, looking for options on the cleanest 9 ammo? its for the wife to help with range fun so theres less complaints lol she hates my unique powder reloads & 9 is usually cheap enough to not reload

I remember thinking the S&B I shot had very nice shiny cases, not sooty or anything.

I find Blazer and AE to be decent ammo, I buy whatever is cheapest to be honest.

American eagle 115gr seems the cleanest in my jrc and 1911

Second on the S&B, runs well and very clean also goes on sale sometimes so watch for it

S&B has always been nice hot stuff and clean also. American eagle seems clean to me also . S&B has a smaller primer hole though .

I had some of this in .45 and the inside of the fired case was as clean as the outside, this would get my vote if available.

Plated bullets or lubed lead bullets?

If the latter, it is the lube that makes the smoke. Load plated for wife...
