Opinions on a Hatsan Optima Silver Synthetic

Tried the search button couldn't find anything. I'm going to look at a used Hatsan Optima Silver Synthetic tomorrow or Tuesday, I'm looking for a decent O/U for skeet/trap. It has a 28" barrel and 3" chamber. Any opinions/reviews/adivce would be appreciated. Thanks Andrew.

Won't last on the skeet or trap field if you plan on doing it at the club regularily. They are in the same catagory as Mossberg silver, Stevens, khan, tri star.


All low end guns.
You will feel it when you pick it up. I picked up one of their pump guns and it was the grittiest nastiest pump I've ever picked up.

Not familiar with the make, but how many rounds do you shoot a year?
Would help quantify you requirements.

600-700 rounds a year max

Check out shotgun world.com they can probably give you more answers. But most modern guns sgould stand up to that with onle regular cleaning and basic maintenance.
