Opinions on clay/sporting shotguns wrt CG, Beretta and Benelli.

Which model within each maker would be the best shotgun for mostly shooting skeet w some hunting. Intersted in one from each of these makers:
1. Caesar Guerini.
2. Beretta and
3. Benelli.

Talk about it fellas!!

The one that fits. Try a couple guns at the range & go from there. I like my Browning o/u skeet gun but not a few other o/u's I've tried. Talk to the guys at the range, most are glad to help. AJ

I use a Beretta 686 and have absolutely no issues at all, in the field and on the range. You have to see which gun will fit you best. I've tried numerous Benelli shotguns to no avail...they are not a good fit for me. Of the various other brands available, a few of them felt great, while others didn't. Try as many as you can to "feel" the difference between different brands/models.

You won't go wrong with either of the "B" guns. (Beretta & Browning)

However as strider007 suggested, "fit is everything".

Some suggest that if you wish to use it for sporting and target one is better to get a sporting model vs a target.
