Looking to get into CAS and would like opnions on the Norinco pump and lever shot guns as to quality reliability.also the double . And while I am at it the Chapperal .
Do many people use the lever action shot gun.
Thanks

I have a Norinco 870 clone that I love... used it for lots of 3-gun stuff and never had an issue, ever. Would trust my life to it.

I've been using a Norinco SxS Hammered Coach gun for CAS for about three years.
The one I have seems to be a pretty solid piece of machinery and has stood up well to the rigours of matches and practice.
I think they are good buy for the money.

The current Chinese 1897's are very reliable and are being used in CAS with great success both in Canada and around the world. Like most new guns they benefit from action jobs and/or lots of dry firing

They are becoming the go to shotgun for folks getting set up for Wild Bunch.

The Chinese model 1887 lever shotguns are sound basic guns that will also need action work and practice to utilize the "drop two" loading technique.
