Right now I have a hornady lock n load single stage press but I am thinking of upgrading to a taller press. When I am Loading 338 lapua magnums it can get tricky to seat the bullets. Also I was thinking of getting a 50 BMG one day so if it is possible a press that could do 50 bmg and 338 lapua would be ideal.

Thanks for the advice.

Ryan.

I have a coax. My first time seating 300gr bullets for a .338 case, the length surprised me. But coming in from the bottom of the seating die and then securing the case in the clamp just took a bit of practice. I think that's as long as it will get with the .338. It would be worse for the .50 calibre, but I don't think I'll be going that route. So the coax is perfect for me.

That's all I can give you Ryan.

The coax following is strong with alot of happy owners. 50 bmg is its own setup from what i understand due to the larger physical size of the dies and extra space required as well as strength for sizing.
