Just got my Tavor today and not entirely impressed with the Mepro. It seems like the circular reticle is fuzzy unless I get it in a certain spot. Just wondering if this is common and general opinions.

I found the top left & bottom right 'hatch mark' around the 1 moa dot was fuzzy when I looked at my Mepro 21 on my Tavor...

I called Chris @ CanadaAmmo & he told me to "Put my glasses on..."

So... I did... And lone behold, IT WAS MY EYES!!! ha ha ha

And, seeing as how I hate wearing my glasses for such a minor correction... I found a way around this 'issue'...

IF I put up the rear peep site, the fuzzyness disappears! Don't ask me why, I'm no optometrist!!!

Cheers
Jay

I didn't like mine at all--no wonder the Isrealis didn't do well versus Hamas in Lebanon recently. Probably missed most shots because of that sight.

The mount on mine had a visible wobble which (obviously) didn"t hold zero well. Replaced the mount with one that goes on a picitanny rail. This improved things but the sight was canted to one side, so it was only good for cqb applications. Besides, the reticle was too coarse for longer range work (200m and more) and would obscure the target. For me, the sight was a big fail---and ended up selling it for a big loss.

Depends.

I actually like them with the bullseye (eotech copy) reticle and quick release. The quick release is on the right so modern rifles with left charging handles aren't a problem unlike the Eotech which is too wide. Doesn't require batteries and is always on.

The bad. Washes out when in shade looking into bright. Doesnt seem like the base to sight is as tough or stable as it should be.

Overall I prefer the Eotech but there are rifles and applications where I prefer the M21.

Israel uses the Mars not the Mepro.

same thing happens to me (and I'm a young guy) on my Bushnell trophy. I know its not a high $$$ or quality, but it works for now, letting me get the hang of both eyes open before i take the plunge for an aimpoint or eotech.

i know the problem lies in eye's focus but once I get outside at the range, everything is crystal clear as well.

It's not too bad (I have the Bulls Eye version) while in full sun light. But if you shoot under cover, in the shade, you loose the reticule. I changed it with something else.

On my Tavor, it looks canted to one side, and a bit wobbly.

yeah honestly after shooting it at the range and trying to zero it, I wasnt a fan of it either.

Ill still keep it tho and just get used to it. Id rather spend money on more ammo than another optic. I mean, some people can do amazing only with irons so I should be at least half as good with this.

I have the picatinny mount with bullseye reticle. I actually really enjoy the sight. No batteries, very clear (for me) and rugged. Mine was great and i think a very good cqb optic.

I did put an Elcan on the Tavor because i wanted some magnification and a cool reticle though.:p
