Isn't the newer import a smaller reticle?
I have a second shipment rifle. I like the mepro, not so much that I will get another, but I am ok with this one staying on the Tavor. The dot is not as large as I feared. It only fades in very bright light, which is ok since I won't be shooting into the sun with it.
The flip up irons co-witness right spot on to the Mepro dot and are accurate.
Using the flip ups does change my point of focus and helps wipe out any blurriness.
My only real worry is how long does the mepro last? Ten years?
What do I do when it fades out? Are aftermarket rails still available?
