Opinions on the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Master Kit?

Case length is independent of maker and bullet weight. Every reloading manual - and you've no business reloading without one - has both case length and recommended cartridge overall length. Google SAAMI for industry specs.

BTW, while I have and use a Sierra manual, any of the leading reloading firms' manuals can be trusted.

Not only the dies but reloading kits too are made in China and not only the RCBS doing it lately either, if I will ever be in need to upgrade my equipment it will be the used one made in good old USA. BTW good luck seeing lower prices for those POS stuff that will not last the generations like the older equipment. With strong Canadian dollar and substandart China made junk somebody is gouging us very well indeed....
 
I've started to avoid RCBS since the Chinese production started, these things are better made here in N.A., I have a couple older Rockchuckers that I use but wouldn't recommend the kits. Buy good quality stuff as you need it, and the best place to start is with the press, may as well start with the best, Redding or best of all Forster Co-ax.

Exactly, IMO the RCBS (and to some extent Lyman's) quality slides as fast as Remington's, current pins and linkages on preses and other parts aren't even heathreaded anymore, good file test on those parts will convince the doubters. Sure the current CNC are plenty accurate but if it comes to fitting the drumms in powder measures for instance nothing will measure up to good old hand honning. I am useing Pacific Super Deluxe C press (made in late 50')for 25 years now and it is still tighter than brand new Orange Crusher (China made) friend of mine bought last year....

Ben the casting are done in China but all the machining on the raw castings are done in the USA.

Bob in BC....I was okay with the Chinese press casting(not really, but kinda), but no way I am going to trust chinese made dies to be accurate. Is this factual???
One thing is for sure about RCBS, they have the best customer service, bar none!!

I have never heard that RCBS dies were made in China. Frankly, I doubt it. Even if they were machining required to make dies is pretty low tech in today's world of computer programming and automation. I guess if I really was concerned I would contact RCBS. I am sure they would tell you.

For loading cast boolits I prefer Dillon dies.;)
