i reload for 45, & being fairly new to it i stick with the powder i started with, but i've found some that i'm not 100% sure i could use so i thought i'd ask you guys, the powders are, herco 2400, reloader 7, greendot, sorry if the names are wrong like i said i usually stick to the same one but if these'll work i thought i'd grab some to keep around for dryspells thanks in advance

doing a quick search it seems greendot is your best bet for 45acp, the other 2 are to slow.

what's your normal powder? if this is for a "dry spell" save what you use currently, assuming you can still get it.

i usually use Unique, i've heard mixed views on how it meters thru a Lee powder measure but its always been bang on whenever i check it my only complaint is that its dirty, i've got a couple lb's now but probobly not enuf to finish my next big reload session hence the inquiry, thanks guys for the info

Herco 2400, that is being made by Alliant now, isn't a .45 ACP powder. It's a .44 Mag, et al, powder.
Greendot is good for cast bullets and shotguns. Data on Alliant's site.
Reloader 7 is a rifle powder.
If you don't have a manual, go buy one.
