Anyone able to give me an opinion on the trade value of a custom Norinco NP28 Double Stack 9mm 1911?
I know I know its a Nork, and nothing I did to it will change that:
Comes with:
11 mags with heavy custom machined aluminum base pads. Mags for these are prett much unobtanium.
Frame milled for a Ramped Barrel and has a brand new Wilson ramped bushing barrel installed, only fired 50 rounds for function test and break in of barrel. Round count on the actual pistol is unknow as I am second owner.
Custom machined Ali Mag well very similar to a STI.
Milled slide is flat topped, dovetail front f/o sight, new SVI style slide serrations front and back and slide cutouts with grip tape inserts on the rear just in front of rear slide serrations.
Custom machined thin Ali grips with grip tape.
Extended mag release, extended slide lock, STI MSH.
Trigger job that breaks cleanly at approx 3 lbs. It uses a Caspian Trick Trigger that was modified to fit the frame. Colt sear. Also comes with original Nork trigger.
One piece steel guide rod.
Wolf springs throughout.
Armacoated but the finish is a little bit worn on the side of the slide where it comes into contact with the holster
Two issues with this pistol.
1. It shoots 3" high at 15 M and either needs a taller front sight or shorter rear sight.
2. The mags need to be tweaked now and then as the mag lip heat treating is not the best.
Dont really want to part with this but I am looking at something else.

Likely better off selling off 9 of the mags to recoup some $ and keep 2 with the gun.
