Opinions please-if you had two Jeff Cooper commemorative's what would you do?

Jeff would prefer to be remembered for his written work and practical teaching. A commemorative pistol is a nice collectors item and may increase in value, but he would want you to enjoy shooting them. Given an Italian race car Jeff would have driven it, not just looked at it. He had little care for what are merely decorations on a working gun.
50 years from now his works will still live on and be relevant; but you are right gforce55, he once opined in a letter to me that he doubted if anyone will know much about anything in 20 years, as people were being force led down a path to ignorance, by political correctness and lies.

DATAM did i read that right,that Jeff Cooper one time wrote you?If so that's pretty cool!!What an honourable,fine man serving his country in WW2,and the Korean war.No wonder he always sounded so battle hardened, decisive,and wise,little wonder why he was such a proponent of the 1911.

45alot, Yes Jeff and I corresponded a couple of times, he would always answer a letter written to him. His main goal was pursuit of excellence and was not a man who enjoyed casual chatter. He would on the other hand, engage in a debate over serious issues, and his knowledge of history was extensive. Sadly I never got to meet him in person; or attend training at Gunsite (his ranch); even though it was a lifetime ambition of mine.
 
DATAM,man that is seriously cool,from what i have heard he was one of those people that truly lived up to every one's expectiation...and then some.Also seem's like he was quite a personable man. (taking the time to write people)Very cool.
