Beetle Outdoor Supply
Expired Business Member
Hello, this is our first post in the Action Shooting Games forum. Beetle Outdoor Supply was set up two years ago to bring in specialty accessories and goods that are not well represented in the Canadian Market. We're a small business, and hope to stay small so that we can continue to offer a personal service and quality goods at a fair price for Canadians. Its not our intention to be the next GunIkea or anything like that.
We've been importing and reselling Comp-Tac competition holsters for a while and recently began looking into revolver holsters which has led to us picking up the full leather Galco line-up. With more requests for unique rigs we set up a direct account with Blade Tech. Currently they have over 30 retailers in the Canada selling their products, but we would like to continue to offer special order holsters for people and noticed their wide variety of goods Pro-SPro lineup.
Having owned 2-3 Ghost holsters myself I was always impressed with the locking mechanism, but not happy with the concept of little plastic grub screws having to be adjusted for correct fit...I know they are well received in the IPSC community, but have also seen several cases where shooters have accidentally dropped their firearms out of them for one reason or another...To each their own.
This brings us to the Blade Tech Pro-Spro series...before I go and order 1K worth of these, I would like to hear peoples opinion of the holsters -both good; and bad- and hopefully shed some light on what models they think We should keep in stock.
At this time I dont plan on bringing in their models that compete with my Comp-Tac line as there are plenty of other retailers selling Blade-Tech Paddle Holsters in Canada, Im just trying to get in some holsters that people would otherwise have to import themselves because there isn't enough demand for the 'big box' stores to order them.
As always we offer a 10% discount on special orders because the buyers understand there will be a 1-2 week wait, this puts our price at or around US MSRP's as seen on the blade tech webpage.
Thanks for any input you can provide

It should be noted that we have inquired and their holsters for the 686 and GP100 in 4" are form fitted for a tight fit on the 4" models so it is unlikely that our 4.2" barrels will fit correctly. If you have either of these revolvers it was suggested to me that the customer select an open bottom 4" holster so that the extra .2" can extend outside the rig.
