Here is some of what I reloaded mid January: Rem 7mm RM/Kimber 89 BGR

DSC01249.jpg

Code:
Hornady 154 gr Interbond Nosler 160 gr Accubond
Fed 215GMM Fed 215GMM
Win Case Win Case
H4831sc (min 60.3, max 65.7) H4831sc (min 56.9, max 61.9)

68 gr x 5 64.4 gr x 5
67 gr x 5 63.4 gr x 5
66 gr x 5 62.4 gr x 5
65 gr x 5 61.4 gr x 5
64 gr x 5 60.4 gr x 5
And here are the cases: 5 left cols are Hornady, 5 right cols are Nosler, click for larger image.

notes: None of the cases showed any bolt lift problems. I had previously worked up to these loads, they were not starting loads. I see 2 Hornady cases had snuck in there, and the one on row 1, col 2 does show a case head/bolt face scrape and a flatter primer than the rest. Perhaps the Hornady case has a looser cup than the Win cases.

My take - the Hornady 154 gr. are reaching max, the Nosler 160 gr. Accubonds could go up a bit yet. None show excessive primer flattening although cratering is definitely obvious.

Thanks to yomamma for posting that picture.

To the OP, your a ways off from "flattening primers". If you feel that you want to stop going any higher with your powder loads, that's fine and you'll have a nice safe load that should be just fine in all weather conditions.
