Wow, the most uninformed anti-hunting statements ever can be found at the bottom. I just started hunting this year - it's not for everyone, but man I can't stand the hypocrites who poo-poo hunting, but still eat meat that may have lived in the worst factory conditions imaginable. Not to start a pro-or-anti discussion, but I thought the article was well-written. Author is not a gun-crazed killer, she's just trying to get in contact with her food chain. Good for her (author, not Oprah )

I talked to a guy today who told me he was an animal rights activist. He didn't really like hunting, but didn't mind eating them if they were already dead.


He told me this because he thought I was a hunter....I was wearing a camouflage ball cap.

Yeah I have to wear a hard hat at work all day so a ball cap fits nicely on the ring around your head that the hard hat leaves.
