I am not well informed, nore educated in the optic world, so. I'm in the market for an optic for a 338 lapua. I'm broke after buying the rifle and stocking up on the reloading supplies. Question is... What would be an affordable optic choice, that wont cave under the recoil?

Buy something used. Realistically you won't get the scope that you want or the rifle deserves until you have at least $1500 to spend.
Absolutely correct. When budgeting for a new rifle you need to factor in a good quality optic. Being a 338 you're going to need a high end optic if you expect the optic to offer features and performance that will work with the 338 and handle the recoil. Most common mistake made is spending the bulk of the budget on the gun and skimping on the rings/mount and optic.. Save up some serious coin and buy a good optic the first time..

something "cheap" but tough and with a good reputation is/are the bushnell elite 10X fixed scopes. They should be around 200/250, so very reasonably priced. But that's IF you have to have a scope now and cant wait to save up for a sightron s3. OR check out the EE, I've picked up 6.5-20 leupolds for great prices because everyone is upgrading.
Great advice guys, but... Until I can afford a proper optic, could I use any of my other optics in the mean time? I just want to put something on it while I wait.

Very simple, no extra features, but it'll likely be the only one in the $300 price range that will stand up to a .338.

Pick the one of your three scopes that seem to you to be of the best quality and use that one on the .338 Lapua. How many people do you think have the same exact set of three scopes to advise you about? All we could do is spout up personal brand preferences, that's no useful advice for you.
imo, you are flushing your money down the toilet with all 3 of those.

well in that case, when you go to the range, take all 3 and correct rings. Then as they break, replace each of them until you are out of scopes or out of ammo. Everyone here is being honest, those are 3 crap scopes, maybe ok on a 22, but not for a hard recoil rifle. Buddy at my club has a rem700 in an AI stock with a millet scope, broke within 150 rnds of 308. If you can afford 2 boxes of 338, you can afford a used bushnell 10X.
