Optic for Colt CE1000 AR-15 (Possibly Bushnell 223 1-4x24?)

So I picked up a Colt CE1000 (Plain Jane AR-15), and have been interested in mounting some sort of optic. I've decided against a red dot in favour of a low magnification scope. Looking online I've seen some positive reviews for the Bushnell 223 1-4x24 scope. Would anyone on here recommend it, or is there a better scope. If so how did you like it? Was the eye relief alright? Ect. I don't have a set price range, just interested in getting the best bang. Any advice or recommendations would be vastly appreciated. Thanks! Also I plan to sight it in for 200 yards if that helps.
 
I can recommend Meopta R1 1-4x22. Great scope, extremely clear and a real 1x Magnification. The K-Dot works awesome for close and longer range.
