i know a few guys that are using 375s and some even a 1.5-5 but i know another guy that hunted a caribou with a 375 and 1.5-5x20 so it should work.

Cz are a little on the heavy side for a 375.

I've always used 3.5-10 and 3-9 scopes on my .375s. The .375 is the epitome of a general purpose hunting rifle and the 3-9ish range is the epitome of a general do everything scope. Its a match made in heaven.

My first .375 was a 550, which got rebarrelled to .375 Weatherby after I shot it out. After playing around with 10 pound .375s for awhile I now favor a M70 Alaskan that weighs a bit over 8 pounds with a 3.5-10 Leupold. That's all a .375 needs to be.

Thanks for the reply

I find the extra weight helps with recoil but yes it is heavy

What brand are you using in 1.25-4x24?

the not so loved here Bushnell brand in elite .... with a german reticle 4 and illuminated point, the other 3-9x40 is a bushnell elite also ... what works for me may not for others lol ...

I run a VX3 2.5-8x36mm on my 375 ruger.
Great power range. Works great for up close. And enough to stretch it out to 300yrds+

And plenty eye relief also get to use them alumna flip up covers

I'd go with either a VX3 2.5-8x or 3.5-10x. The 375 has plenty of legs to make use of the higher end of either of these scopes. The only illuminated sporting scope I've ever used was the Trijicon 3-9x with the lighted triangle on top of the post. I found the lighted triangle too large and too bright for my tastes. If it could be made even dimmer and about 25% of the size it would have been better.

I have a Burris 3x9 Fullfield 2 on my CZ 550 375, which was on the Win. mod 70 375 before that. A 6x in see through rings is on the Win now. I also tried Leupold vx2 2x7 on the 375 before it ended up on the CZ550 med. 9.3x62. The CZ's have warne quick release mounts.
